Register now for NC Housing Day 2026 on April 28-29 in Raleigh! On April 29, we will meet with our state legislators in Raleigh and tell them that affordable housing is important for North Carolina, and the state has a vital role to play. There are also opportunities for training and networking on April 28. NC Housing Day is hosted by Habitat for Humanity NC, the NC Housing Coalition, the NC Community Land Trust Coalition, and the NC Coalition to End Homelessness.

Find Your Representative
When registering, you will be asked to include your NC House and NC Senate representatives on the form. If you’re not sure who they are, enter your address into the “Find Your Legislators” tool here: https://www.ncleg.gov/findyourlegislators. This will help our team as we schedule meetings with legislators and/or their staff for Housing Day 2026.
Schedule of Events
Dates: April 28 (3-5pm for training, 6-9pm for networking reception), April 29 (8am-5pm)
Location: Downtown Raleigh (specific venue details will be shared with registered attendees)
Advocacy Training – April 28, 3-5pm (Included in Housing Day Ticket)
All NC Housing Day attendees will receive training on the NC housing policy landscape, our NC Housing Day asks, and how to effectively communicate with legislators. This is also a great time to review the meeting schedule and connect with other advocates in your meeting group.
Networking Reception – April 28, 6-9pm (Housing Day + Networking Reception Ticket)
Following the Advocacy Training, attendees have the option to join us for an evening networking reception. This reception is designed to help advocates connect across organizations, build relationships, and prepare for Housing Day. Light refreshments will be served.
NC Housing Day – April 29, 8am-5pm (Included in Housing Day Ticket)
The big day! Attendees will gather briefly in the morning, then walk together to the NC General Assembly. Attendees will meet with legislators throughout the day, which will conclude with a press conference. Light refreshments for breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.
