Originally organized in 1994, the Association of Housing Counselors (TAHC) is an organization of Housing Counselors and other professionals committed to promoting housing counseling in North and South Carolina.
TAHC’s mission is to increase the availability of resources and training opportunities for counselors, thereby increasing the number of qualified counselors and enhancing the quality of service delivery to clients. Learn more about TAHC >>
Participants who successfully complete one 30-hour class and pass the exam are designated as certified. See our certification process >>
Counselors must earn and document at least 32 eligible CEUs every two years in order to remain certified. Learn more about certification renewal requirements >>
TAHC certified housing counselors can receive up to 11 CEUs for attending the annual Housing Works Conference in the fall. Check back in July to register for the conference.
