U.S. House approves H.R. 7301: “Emergency Housing Protections and Relief Act of 2020”
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) introduced the “Protecting Renters from Evictions and Fees Act of 2020”
Actions you can take:
- Contact Senators, especially Sen. Thom Tillis, about the need for housing resources. Tell them what you are seeing on the ground. Ask them to enact housing relief and additional economic protections for regular people
- Ask House members to vote to support H.R. 2: The Moving Forward Act, which includes many of the LIHTC reforms of the Affordable Housing Credit Improvement Act (AHCIA)
