Founded in 1990, The Woda Group has been a developer, general contractor, and property manager focusing on affordable housing for over 25 years. With offices in Ohio, Georgia Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Michigan, we are active in 13 states and has completed more than 200 affordable housing communities.
The Woda Group has expertise across the affordable housing spectrum. Our properties include multi-family, garden apartments, townhomes, urban mid-rise buildings, historic adaptive re-use buildings, lease-purchase single family subdivisions, and senior cottages. We have worked with a broad spectrum of federal, state, and local programs including: federal and state low income housing tax credits; federal and state historic tax credits, new market tax credits; energy credits; and various other programs.
The Woda Group makes a long term commitment to each of its properties and enjoys strong relationships with state housing agencies, communities, investors, lenders, and nonprofit organizations. Woda was an early adopter of Green Building practices and has completed numerous LEED, EarthCraft, and Enterprise Green certified communities.
Woda has been active in North Carolina since 2013 with the development of Tooley Place in Elizabeth City and Viewmont Square Court in Hickory. We are about to start the development of Ravenwood Crossing in Ricky Mount and Shepard Greene in Zebulon.
We joined the North Carolina Housing Coalition as soon as we wanted to work in NC. We are impressed with the quality and relevance of work carried out by the Coalition. It is so important to have such a professional and dynamic representation in the state; now and probably even more so in the future.
