Bringing It Home: Ending Homelessness in NC is a statewide annual conference dedicated to ensuring that homelessness in North Carolina is rare, brief, and one time only. The two-day conference includes more than a dozen presentations, panels, and workshops covering a broad range of topics related to homelessness. There are also opportunities to network and share insights with fellow professionals and advocates. The conference is hosted by the NC Housing Coalition, NC Coalition to End Homelessness, and the NC DHHS ESG Office.

Save the Date for this year’s Bringing It Home: Ending Homelessness in NC conference on May 15-16, 2025 at the McKimmon Center in Raleigh, featuring National Coalition for the Homeless Executive Director Donald Whitehead Jr.! Homelessness services professionals and allies will gather for two days to learn, network, and collaborate with industry experts from across North Carolina and beyond.

Our Keynote: Donald Whitehead Jr.
Donald Hugh Whitehead Jr. is recognized as a leading expert on homelessness, having served as the Executive Director of the Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless, Assistant Director at St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore, Program Director at Ohio Valley Goodwill, Grant Manager at Goodwill of Greater Washington and Director of Communications at Greenpeace Ohio. Donald served two terms as President of the Board of Directors for the National Coalition for the Homeless, two terms on the Board of Directors for Faces and Voices of Recovery and two terms on the Georgetown Center for Cultural Competency.
