This week, two Volunteers In Service to America (VISTAs) have joined the Coalition’s AmeriCorps program to strengthen our network’s housing counseling agencies and attract new talent to the profession of housing counseling. VISTAs Cash’e Chapman and Colton Payne will spend their service years with Kingdom CDC and Cleveland County CDC respectively. Both projects focus on building the capacity of the agency’s communications and outreach in order to increase community engagement. The VISTAs will serve at their sites until February 2026.
