Individual Membership
Are you in need of affordable housing or care about deeply about your community? Join as an individual to more effectively connect with the elected officials who most impact housing affordability. Individuals who join the Coalition will be able to create an account for the Coalition’s member portal. Other member benefits include:
- One discounted registration to annual Housing Works: Affordable Housing in NC Conference
- One discounted registration to Coalition events such as Housing Day 2020 reception
- Special access to Coalition networking events and listening sessions
- Ability to submit community events and updates for the Coalition’s weekly Housing Call and Events Calendar
- Exclusive access to Coalition materials such as press release kits and in-depth policy examinations

Organizational Membership
Is affordable housing the mission of your organization? Join the Coalition to provide your staff, supporters, and partner families with the tools they need to be effective housing advocates, and to access a network of housing professionals and expertise from across the continuum. Organizations who join the Coalition will gain access to the Coalition’s member portal and can create individual accounts for up to 5 staff members. Other member benefits include:
- Discounted registration to annual Housing Works: Affordable Housing in NC Conference for all staff members
- Discounted registration to Coalition events such as Housing Day 2020 reception for all staff members
- Special access to Coalition networking events and listening sessions
- Priority consideration for Housing Call guest speakers
- Ability to submit community/organization events and updates for the Coalition’s Housing Call and events calendar
- Ability to submit job listings to the Coalition’s job board
- Exclusive access to Coalition materials such as press release kits and in-depth policy examinations
Organizational Membership Levels (based on organization’s total operating budget):
- $250 (Below $750,000)
- $500 ($751,000-$999,000)
- $750 ($1-$2 million)
- $1,000 (Over $2 million)

Developers Council
Are you a low income housing tax credit developer or an allied professional? Join the Developers Council to support the advocacy that ensures the preservation and expansion of the low income housing tax credit. Developers Council membership benefits include:
- All organizational member benefits
- Discounted registration to the Coalition’s annual Developers Council Dinner
- Invitation to the Coalition’s congressional visits in Washington, D.C.
- Invitation to Developers Council policy and networking events throughout the year
Developers Council membership is $250 per tax credit property.

Investors Council
Are you a banking institution or corporation who invests in affordable housing or cares about the affordability of housing for your workforce? The Investors Council is a dedicated group of diverse banking and business leaders who form a strong alliance with the nonprofit community in support of affordable housing solutions in North Carolina. Members of the Investors Council provide expertise and crucial financial support for the NC Housing Coalition. Investors Council membership benefits include:
- All organizational member benefits
- Discounted registration to the Coalition’s annual Developers Council Dinner
- Sponsorship opportunities for events and programs
