The Community Land Trust of Western North Carolina (CLTWNC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring permanent housing affordability and community stewardship of land across the region. Established in response to the need for affordable workforce housing in Western North Carolina, CLTWNC partners with residents, governments, and other nonprofit organizations to create inclusive, sustainable neighborhoods rooted in local control. Our mission is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves stable, affordable housing and a voice in the future of their community.

Position Summary
The General Contractor is the CLT’s lead for delivering safe, code-compliant, on-budget, and on-schedule construction projects — including new affordable housing, housing rehabilitation/repair programs, and potential commercial or mixed-use development. This role will act the CLT’s representative on their flagship development project, manage contractors and consultants, coordinate permitting and inspections, and ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with organizational/funding requirements.
